A Story of Hope
La'Tasha Smith was homeless. In the dead of winter, her nights were spent in the backseat of her Pontiac Grand Am. But through job training and financial coaching made possible by United Way, La'Tasha was able to find a good job and a place to call home.

Better With Breakfast
A recent expansion of United Way's Better With Breakfast program made free breakfast available to 3,500 students in Oakland County. This program has instituted alternative breakfast options like mobile food carts and food in classrooms to make it easier for students to get a quick meal to start the day.
